What is your day rate?
Day rates vary by project type, location, and duration. Film and OTT projects follow CUMAC rate structures for union productions. Corporate and brand projects are typically quoted as a package covering prep, shoot days, and post. Send a brief and I will turn around a quote within 24 hours.
Do you travel between Dubai and Kochi?
Yes — this is the default. I am based between both cities and regularly work across Kerala and the UAE. Travel costs for shoots outside these two bases are discussed at the briefing stage. International projects are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Can you handle post-production remotely?
Yes. Post runs through DaVinci Resolve Cloud Collaboration and Frame.io. You can review cuts and grades, leave timecoded comments, and approve deliverables from anywhere — no need to be in the same city. Typical turnaround on a first cut is 5–7 working days after the shoot, depending on project scope.
Are you available for union Malayalam film productions?
Yes. I hold CUMAC membership as Associate Cinematographer AC-286, affiliated to FEFKA and AIFEC. This is the formal credential required for DP work on union Malayalam film industry productions. Reach out early — union productions typically require crew confirmation well ahead of the shoot schedule.
What is your typical availability?
Availability is confirmed at the briefing stage. For film productions requiring extended scheduling, contact at least 6–8 weeks ahead of the shoot date. Corporate and brand projects with shorter lead times are accommodated where the schedule allows. WhatsApp is the fastest route for urgent availability checks.
