Paul Joseph is a Director of Photography and Associate Cinematographer working across Malayalam cinema and corporate film production. Based between Dubai and Kochi, Kerala, he holds membership with CUMAC (Cinematographers’ Union of Malayalam Cinema), affiliated to FEFKA and AIFEC — the formal union credential for cinematographers working in the Malayalam film industry.
He produced and shot his debut short film Life of Elsa, which premiered across 12 streaming platforms and received a public broadcast on AP Malayalam, marking his entry into narrative filmmaking.
Drawing on two decades of experience across corporate sectors including technology, finance, and electronics, Paul brings a rare commercial fluency to his work behind the camera. He is the founder of LowLightKing Productions, a corporate video production company in Kochi specialising in brand films, product demos, and employer branding content for B2B and IT companies.
He shoots primarily on Sony cinema cameras and grades in DaVinci Resolve, with a noted specialisation in low-light cinematography.
